SEASTAR is an advanced, nonlinear structural analysis tool that predictsthe response of complex marine structures subjected to environmentalloads. It operates in the time domain and can generate loads fromcurrents, Airy and Stokes' Vth order waves, stream function, and randomseas. Random seas can be generated from standard spectrum or actual seasurface histories. Program capabilities include:- Full 3-D modeling.

The element library includes a 3-D large displacement truss and beam, 3-Dlarge displacement beam with nonlinear materials, cable element, gappingelement, shim element, and soil support element. Included is an advancedsoil modeling element, calibrated with field test data, which allowscoupled structure/pile foundation modeling.
